Special Education: NIS provides self-contained classes with twelve children that provide an opportunity for children with developmental delays to learn in a small structured environment. We also offer integrated classes with 18 children that provide children across a range of differing abilities to learn alongside one another.

Autism Integrated Model (AIM): Small classes with 6 or 8 children and high adult to child ratios are designed to meet the needs of children displaying behaviors associated with ASD and other related disabilities. This Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI) integrates Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), targeted relational and communication training, and developmentally appropriate practices, including sensory integration.

General Education: Participating school districts offer eligible 4-year-olds the opportunity to attend our Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program on and off site. We also offer a stimulating integrated nursery program for children aged 3 and 4, team taught by a Special Educator and an Early Childhood Teacher.

Early Intervention: NIS offers an early intervention enhanced group to eligible children under the age of 3 Monday – Friday from 2:45-4:45 PM. This center-based program offers a wide variety of developmentally appropriate teaching methodologies individualized to the needs of students, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), discrete trial instruction, and Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI).

Childcare: Our childcare program offers a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for young children from 6 weeks through 36 months of age. For children aged 3-5 years, we offer before and after care.
