Every classroom is equipped with a computer for use by the students. In addition to teaching computer skills, we use educational software that focuses on development of language, pre-academic cognitive skills, hand/eye coordination and visual discrimination.
Classroom Interactive White Boards present an opportunity to use strong visual and auditory information to enhance group and center based activities. Interactive White Boards have proved highly motivating for all children, and their use in our setting prepares our students for the use of White Boards in the public schools.
The visual and audio components of the iPad/Tablet are strong teaching tools and the applications make it easy to individualize programs for each student. Our iPads are used in our classrooms, during speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy.
Many students have difficulty with fine motor, communication and self help skills. Assistive technology provides state-of-the-art products to help students reach their full potential.
